David Boyd is the Head of YouXD, responsible for managing the business, as well as providing strategic input on key projects. With more than 18 years design and brand communication industry experience, David has a particular passion for information design and simplified communication.
Eamon O’Rourke is YouXD's design director, leading design projects from discovery to delivery. He is a user experience design specialist and previously spent nine years leading the UX design practice for a national web solutions company. With more than two decades of design and advertising industry experience, he has a broad versatility to deliver on any visual communication challenge.
Roy Allen is manager of our Auckland team (as well as Datam's Customer Experience Manager). Roy’s experience spans 26 years in advertising and business management. He combines extensive general business skills, with a strong marketing communications focus to solve demanding business communication problems.
Sally Brown is YouXD’s business development manager charged with seeking out exciting new opportunities. Sally also brings a unique, but relevant perspective to the team through her experience in the IT and business process outsourcing industries.
Keriana Whittaker provides strategic overview and client service for key projects in Wellington. Keriana’s experience in communications is diverse, including roles in the film and music industries, advertising, public sector communications and most recently, eight years in account managing design, with a particular emphasis on public sector clients.
Brent McCready is YouXD’s national operations manager, responsible for workflow management, systems, processes, quality assurance and the production teams. If YouXD was the Starship Enterprise, Brent would be our Scotty.
John Morris is YouXD’s design craft guru, with 12 years award winning experience designing brand identity and brand collateral (from shop-fittings to web sites) for high-profile corporates, both in New Zealand and abroad.
Brett Riley is YouXD’s information design guru with 19 years industry experience starting in the print industry. Brett’s rational approach is invaluable on projects with a technical emphasis, such as stamp design, forms design, online and interactive projects.
Sue Pang is based in the Auckland studio. Sue has six year’s experience designing for advertising and direct marketing agencies. She is also an accomplished illustrator.
Katie West provides account management for design projects in Auckland. Katie has a background in media-related roles, including account management in radio, sales and marketing, newspaper and trade magazines.

Bronwyn Hall is based in the Wellington studio. Bronwyn has nine years award winning graphic design experience including direct mail, packaging and corporate communications and service communications.
This is the production arm of YouXD, including two workflow managers and six digital artists, providing high-capacity, high-quality artwork production and layout services to YouXD, and across Datam.
Sharon Clarken – Studio Manager (Auckland) picked up the mantle of studio manager three years ago, having returned to NZ from a stint in the publishing and design industries in London. She liaises closely with account managers and designers to ensure quality control, deadlines and budgets are met. Sharon is a travel junkie, and will use any excuse to get on a plane whenever possible.
James Garman – Digital Artist (Auckland) is an integral part of the Auckland studio, working with account managers, designers and the design director across a wide range of projects and ensuring that the work emerging from the studio is of a consistently high standard. James enjoys photography, design, BBQ sauce, music, and snowboarding, although not necessarily all at once.
Kristy Whalen - Studio Manager (Wellington) possesses a thorough production knowledge gained from over six years at Communication Arts, in both production and account management roles. This gives her the perfect forthright and pragmatic approach to controlling our workflow. Kristy is fanatical about football, just don’t mention Liverpool...
Gia Coleman - Digital Artist (Wellington) since completing her Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design, Gia has been working largely in computer-based publishing and design roles for the past five years. Her experience, gained in both New Zealand and overseas, has allowed her to build a comprehensive portfolio and skills in digital production.
Lisa Hart - Digital Artist (Wellington) has worked as a Digital Artist for six years and has been predominantly involved in the production of forms and brochures. Lisa daylights as a digital artist to support her passion for horse riding and photography.
Nick Kitchener - Digital Artist (Wellington) is YouXD’s photo-retouching and digital imaging guru. Hailing from England, Nick began his career in London as a 3D animator, working for clients such as the BBC, Discovery and Disney Channels. He then made the move into the design industry where he has made his mark as digital artist specialising in Photoshop.
Steve Lennon - Digital Artist (Wellington) Quite simply, Steve is the YouXD font of all prepress knowledge. With 40 years in the business, there really isn’t anything he doesn’t know about formatting and structuring files so they actually work..... Even if he would rather be fishing!
Jackie Speedy - Digital Artist (Wellington) is a mainstay of the Wellington production team with six years experience as a digital artist. She brings a broad experience base to the team having worked in the fashion and film industries before specialising in digital media.
